An example of calculating the margin error. The Marketing Research Agency conducted a survey to find out how many mobile phone users use their devices to access social networks. They interviewed 1000 sexmobile phone users and found that 540 of them regularly used their devices to access their media profiles in communities.
Let’s say we want a 95% confidence level; With that in mind, Z-Score = 1.96.
The test population, p, is 540/1000, which is 0.54. (The sample size, m, was 1000.)
